Business Development Associate - Outbound Appointment Setter

About the role

Wildish Energy is looking for a motivated, articulate Business Development Associate based in Jamaica to make outbound B2B follow-up calls with commercial energy prospects across the United States. You will receive curated lead lists of U.S. businesses that have already received an introductory email, and your goal is to generate interest in commercial utility cost-recovery solutions and encourage prospects to book a conversation with the leadership team or reply directly.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound follow-up calls to U.S. commercial prospects.
• Communicate professionally with business owners, finance executives and decision-makers.
• Generate interest and arrange qualified appointments.
• Maintain accurate call notes and update lead tracking records.
• Provide timely progress updates.

Required profile

• Previous sales, B2B cold-calling, appointment-setting or energy industry experience.
• Excellent spoken English and confident telephone communication.
• Reliable internet connection, computer and headset, plus a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
• Availability during the required calling windows.

Working schedule

• Tuesday through Thursday during U.S. business hours, between 9:00 AM Eastern and 5:00 PM Pacific.

Compensation and application

• This is a 100% commission-only independent contractor opportunity, not an employee position; earnings are performance-based with uncapped potential tied to successful client engagements.
• Contractors are responsible for their own local taxes and statutory obligations.
