Customer Service Expert AI Training - Remote

About the role

This hourly, remote contractor position involves acting as a Customer Service Subject Matter Expert to help create a custom dataset of natural, human‑enacted customer service conversations. Your work will directly support the training of speech‑to‑speech AI agents, ensuring they handle real‑world interactions accurately and empathetically.

Key responsibilities

• Create realistic customer service dialogues based on provided scenarios and guidelines.
• Evaluate and rank AI‑generated responses to improve model accuracy and relevance.
• Test AI models for potential biases or inaccuracies and validate their reliability across use cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Management or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional customer service experience with strong communication and issue‑resolution skills.
• 1+ year of experience in AI training, data annotation, model evaluation or related AI work.
• Excellent spoken English (C1+), clear and fluent verbal communication.
• Self‑directed, reliable and able to deliver consistent quality in a remote contractor environment.
