Customer Service & Technical Banking Support Associate

About the role

Technical Customer Service Associates provide frontline support to banking customers, handling inbound calls, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering exceptional service. The role is onsite at Sutherland’s Portmore location.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls to provide exceptional customer service and technical solutions.
• Respond to inquiries about technical issues, product information, payments, and account maintenance.
• Upsell customers to new products or services as encouraged.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3‑4 CXC/GCE subjects including English, or a U.S. high school diploma/GED.
• Valid government‑issued ID, TRN and NIS card.
• Flexible availability to work any day, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to handle high‑volume inbound calls and provide technical troubleshooting.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with CRM applications.
• Basic PC keyboarding and typing at least 30 WPM.
