Junior HR Business Partner

About the role

Join The Palace Company’s Vacation Club division in Ocho Rios, Jamaica as a Junior HR Business Partner. You will support commercial and operational teams by handling employee relations and generalist HR tasks in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Vacation Club leaders to provide day‑to‑day HR guidance and coach managers on performance, conflict resolution and employee engagement.
• Manage employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with Jamaican labor legislation.
• Coordinate onboarding, personnel administration, payroll incident management and recruitment for administrative roles.
• Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism and engagement to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support organizational changes, employee engagement initiatives and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator or HR Business Partner.
• Experience supporting commercial or sales organizations; hospitality or vacation‑ownership background is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Jamaican labor legislation and HR best practices.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS/ERP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
