Managing Director

About the role

FirstRock Group Limited is seeking an experienced Managing Director to provide executive leadership and oversee the company’s overall performance, governance and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and recommend strategic and annual business plans, lead execution, and monitor performance across the company.
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, financial controls, and timely reporting, working closely with the Group CFO.
• Lead efficient, reliable and cost‑effective daily operations, improving processes, service delivery and technology use.
• Manage the Legal team’s contracts, corporate secretarial matters, regulatory compliance and legal risk, including litigation and external counsel.
• Lead, develop and hold teams accountable, set performance objectives and promote a culture of integrity and collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law or related field; MBA preferred.
• At least ten years of progressive management experience, including five years in a senior executive role overseeing finance, operations and legal functions.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, corporate governance and the Jamaican legal and regulatory environment.
