Product Specialist

About the role

CoolMarket is seeking a full‑time Product Specialist to join its team in Saint Ann, Jamaica. In this on‑site role you will manage the marketplace’s product listings, ensure accurate and compelling product information, and help drive sales through effective categorisation and optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Create, edit and maintain product listings, including titles, descriptions, images and pricing.
• Onboard new sellers and products, resolving any listing issues promptly.
• Monitor product performance metrics and analyse seller feedback to recommend improvements.
• Support promotional campaigns and coordinate with customer‑service to address product‑related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate stock and pricing data across the platform.

Required profile

• Experience in product management or a similar Product Specialist role within ecommerce.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and make evidence‑based recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with sellers and internal teams.
• Detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Post‑secondary education in business or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva and Photoshop for image editing and visual staging.
• Advanced use of spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) for reporting and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and basic reporting tools.
