Sales Promoter – Retail & Hardware (Runaway Bay)

About the role

The Sales Promoter will represent Sherwin‑Williams in the Runaway Bay store, assisting wholesale and retail customers with product information, paint mixing and sales support. The role combines customer service, product expertise and store upkeep to drive sales and maintain high visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Sherwin‑Williams products and provide information on decorative, automotive and industrial lines.
• Mix and tint paint to customer specifications using tinting equipment.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone, determine their needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and maintain work order files.
• Set up promotional booths, stock shelves and create visual displays.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and support deliveries as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum age 18 and legally authorized to work in Jamaica without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent with passes in English and Mathematics.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb frequently and up to 100 lb occasionally.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s licence (preferred).

Required skills

• Paint mixing and tinting.
• Operation of tinting and mixing equipment.
