Senior Finance Manager

About the role

The Senior Manager - Finance will ensure accurate transaction recording, lead the finance team, and provide timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders. This role acts as the final internal reviewer before escalation to the Head of Finance & Business Planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and coordinate the financial accounting and reporting process, monitoring significant variances.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies, including ERP upgrades.
• Coach and develop the accounting team, fostering personal and professional growth.
• Oversee month‑end close, preparation of monthly financial statements, and management reports for senior management and the Board.
• Authorize accounts payable uploads, approve reconciliations, tax filings, and financial‑statement preparation.
• Conduct quarterly spot audits of cash‑in‑hand records and investigate differences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Full professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA).
• 5‑8 years progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior finance management role.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, financial reporting, and treasury/cash management.

• Strong analytical skills for management reporting and cash‑audit investigations.
• Ability to maintain firm control standards across multiple department heads.
• Clear communication with senior finance leadership on risk and control matters.
