Store Manager - Convenience

About the role

As a Store Manager you will act as the ‘shopkeeper’ of a convenience store, running the business with an entrepreneurial spirit. You will lead a team to deliver an excellent customer experience while driving commercial performance and supporting the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team to create a culture where customer experience is the best in the market, aligned with the Morrisons brand.
• Drive commercial performance by treating the store as your own business and continuously improving the offering.
• Oversee all people activities, including recruitment, induction, training, and development, fostering an inclusive culture.
• Build and manage relationships with the local community, including potential post‑office services.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fast‑paced, service‑focused environments such as retail, convenience or hospitality.
• Passion for spotting and developing talent and ability to coach, motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong resilience and problem‑solving skills, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to influence, listen and consider diverse perspectives to innovate store operations.
