Support Ambassador – Remote (Jamaica)

About the role

As a Support Ambassador at New York Solar Program, you'll use your communication and customer service skills to educate homeowners about the benefits of switching to solar energy at no out-of-pocket cost.

Key responsibilities

• Outbound & inbound calls – connect with homeowners in prime solar areas, build rapport, set and reschedule appointments, and handle other customer‑service tasks.
• Educate & build trust – inform homeowners about the benefits of installing solar now while government funding is available.
• Support & tools – manage CRM, use sales resources, and receive ongoing coaching.
• Train – provide training and coaching to onboarding ambassadors.
• Leadership – mentor and coach all ambassadors.

Required profile

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills (C1 level).
• Residency in Jamaica.
• Teachable and willing to apply training methods.
• Outgoing, professional personality with a strong work ethic.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work independently within a team.
• Tech‑savvy and detail‑oriented.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
• Flexible schedule – Monday‑Friday 9 AM‑5 PM EST plus a 2‑hour shift on Saturdays.
• Must have high‑speed internet, laptop/computer and headset.
• Genuine interest in renewable energy solutions and sustainability initiatives.
