Tax Associate

About the role

EY is seeking a Tax Associate to join its Tax Services department in Jamaica. The role involves working within a compliance team to deliver high‑quality tax compliance services to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with tax professionals to execute tax compliance work.
• Gather and communicate required information to ensure accurate tax compliance products within budget.
• Provide timely, high‑quality services that meet client expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in client relationships.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or tax compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field, or pursuing CPA/ACCA/LEC certification.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of current tax laws and emerging tax issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a tax technology environment.
