Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist

About the role

Adlinc Business Services Limited is looking for a relationship‑focused, detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist to manage the collections function for its courier and logistics clients. You will be responsible for following up on outstanding balances, documenting customer commitments, and handling collection activities with professionalism and firmness.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor aging reports and pursue overdue balances via phone, email, and statements.
• Maintain detailed contact logs, collection notes, payment status updates, and promise‑to‑pay records.
• Escalate delinquent accounts and recommend actions such as credit holds, payment plans, prepaid or COD terms.
• Negotiate and document payment arrangements within approved guidelines.
• Issue customer statements, respond to balance confirmation requests, and provide clear account summaries.
• Research and resolve billing questions, rate discrepancies, duplicate charges, missing invoices, and service‑related deductions.
• Coordinate with operations, customer service, and internal teams to gather information for dispute resolution.
• Prepare documentation for credit notes, rebills, adjustments, or write‑off considerations.
• Maintain accurate billing contacts, collection notes, and payment preferences.

Required profile

• Strong accounting knowledge combined with excellent customer communication skills.
• Approachable yet persistent, comfortable discussing past‑due balances and payment commitments.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to document interactions accurately.
• Professional demeanor while remaining firm on payment expectations.
