Accounting Manager – Hospitality Services

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the financial operations of our hospitality services in Jamaica. The role reports directly to management in Spain and ensures the centre’s financial health through accurate accounting, reporting, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general accounting functions including invoicing, bank reconciliations, and monthly/annual closings.
• Control cash flow, oversee payments and collections, and maintain up‑to‑date transaction records.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and present results to management in Spain.
• Support the preparation and monitoring of operating budgets.
• Identify and propose improvements to financial control processes.
• Ensure compliance with Jamaican tax and accounting regulations.
• Coordinate with external advisors or accounting firms as needed.
• Act as primary contact for suppliers, banks, and external advisors, resolving financial issues promptly.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of local Jamaican accounting and tax regulations.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Highly organized, autonomous, and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software and accounting/management tools.
