Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Construction & Real Estate

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, execution‑focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead day‑to‑day operations across our construction, real‑estate development, property management, procurement, commercial, and supporting functions. The COO will partner closely with the President/CEO and the executive team to turn strategic objectives into operational plans, measurable performance, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all operational activities, translating corporate strategy into effective operational plans and execution priorities.
• Establish operating standards, processes, KPIs, and performance‑management systems to drive discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide executive oversight of construction projects and development portfolios, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate land development, design, approvals, procurement, construction, handover, sales, leasing, and asset‑management activities.
• Work with Finance and the President/CEO to achieve financial and operational targets, monitor profitability, cash flow, and resource utilization.
• Oversee procurement and supply‑chain functions, ensuring efficient sourcing and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing complex construction and real‑estate operations and large project portfolios.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers, and strategic partners.
• Strong track record of translating strategic goals into operational execution and measurable results.
