Data Entry Agent – MBJ

About the role

The Operations Data Entry Agent ensures that shipment information is accurate, complete, and entered on the same day to support export operations. This role is critical for flight uplift, customs clearance, and maintaining high data quality throughout the export shipment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Enter all outbound shipment data on the same day before flight uplift.
• Verify shipper and consignee details, addresses, contact information, commodity descriptions, declared values, billing data, weights and dimensions.
• Correct data errors or escalate unresolved issues.
• Support export processes such as bagging, containerization, direct injection (JAMPOST), shipment reconciliation and documentation.
• Review customs documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Generate operational reports and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain electronic and physical shipment records.
• Assist with operational recovery during disruptions and peak periods.
• Collaborate with Operations, Brokerage, Gateway, Customer Service and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• Minimum five CSEC subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain is an asset.
• At least two years of experience in logistics, courier operations, freight forwarding or data entry.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and high typing accuracy.
