IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled, solutions‑driven IT Support Engineer to manage our technology environment. The role blends IT administration, end‑user support, software development, and project coordination, requiring a hands‑on, security‑focused professional.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, workstations, cloud environments and business applications.
• Administer user accounts, access permissions and security policies; conduct regular audits and access reviews.
• Monitor system performance, backups and disaster‑recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, troubleshoot connectivity, application and access issues, and assist with onboarding/offboarding.
• Develop, test and maintain internal tools and automation scripts, following cloud‑first and security principles.
• Support production deployments, monitor releases and resolve post‑release issues.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, software and licensing.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, responsive and security‑conscious attitude.
• Comfortable working across both IT support and software engineering tasks.
• Strong analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and preventive solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Required skills

• System administration (servers, networks, workstations).
• Cloud environment management (V2 Cloud or similar).
• Microsoft Teams and Outlook proficiency.
• Scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python or comparable languages).
• Version control and release management (Git or similar).
• Experience with backups, disaster‑recovery and system monitoring.
