Loan Processor – Entry Level Credit Risk

About the role

We are an alternative financing company that provides working capital cash advances to small and medium‑sized businesses. We are seeking an entry‑level Loan Processor to join our growing credit risk department and support underwriting decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Use proprietary software to process incoming applications for funding and capture credit‑related data from multiple external sources.
• Assess the customer's personal and business credit by examining credit reports (FICO, LexisNexis) and bank statements.
• Communicate perspectives verbally and in writing to colleagues in a clear and concise manner.
• Undertake ad‑hoc projects on an as‑needed basis.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year of credit risk/underwriting experience, ideally with an MCA funder or reputable small business lender.
• Ability to follow directions and tasks set forth by management.
• Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to team success.
• Strong values/ethics and commitment to the highest standards of professional conduct.
