Loan Processor – Entry Level Credit Risk Role

About the role

Join a fast‑growing alternative financing company as an entry‑level Loan Processor. You will work within the credit risk/underwriting team, using proprietary technology to evaluate small‑business funding applications and support senior underwriters.

Key responsibilities

• Use proprietary software to process incoming funding applications and capture credit‑related data from multiple external sources.
• Assess personal and business creditworthiness by reviewing credit reports (FICO, LexisNexis) and bank statements.
• Communicate findings clearly in writing and verbally to colleagues and sales agents.
• Maintain concise, accurate notes that support underwriting decisions.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience in credit risk, underwriting, or a similar role (preferably with an MCA funder or small‑business lender).
• Strong work ethic, ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to team success.
• High ethical standards and adherence to professional conduct guidelines.
