Operations/Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven and results‑oriented Operations/Business Development Manager to oversee commercial performance, monitor key business metrics, and support the achievement of financial and operational objectives. The role will involve budget development, performance reporting, strategic planning, and driving sales and marketing initiatives while managing key client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals to accelerate growth over the next 2‑3 years.
• Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans that increase footfall and revenue.
• Act as the visible business‑facing representative, understanding B2B and consumer requirements at the brewery.
• Manage social media content using key metrics to improve relationships with new and existing customers.
• Collaborate with brewing, kitchen, golf club, sponsors and strategic partners to deliver win‑win results.
• Monitor performance of commercial activities, prepare reports and track key metrics.
• Assist in setting financial targets, developing budgets and monitoring financial performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Food & Beverage, Marketing or Hospitality.
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Project Manager or similar role.
• Demonstrated success in sales, marketing and managing key client relationships.
• Strong understanding of market research methods and analysis.
• Solid knowledge of performance reporting and budgeting processes.
• Commercial awareness combined with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field (MSc/MA a plus).
