Payroll Services Analyst I

About the role

Conduent is seeking a Payroll Services Analyst I to support client payroll operations. The analyst will manage employee data, process payroll files, and ensure accurate reporting across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain client employee records for new hires, terminations, and personnel changes.
• Enter data exceptions and updates into HR/payroll systems and upload payroll files.
• Perform peer‑check audits of data files, correct entry errors, and compile final payroll and banking reports.
• Handle Tier 2 payroll inquiries within agreed service levels.
• Reconcile payroll calculations, multi‑state tax data, and general‑ledger accounts.
• Support special projects and ensure compliance with all policies and contractual obligations.

Required profile

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow standardized procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Basic understanding of payroll processes and tax regulations.
• No supervisory responsibilities; impact limited to own tasks.
