Receiving Supervisor

About the role

The Receiving Supervisor will lead the Warehouse Team at Iberostar Group’s hotel in Jamaica, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of all goods and supplies. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the receiving area, warehouse, and inventory storage facilities.
• Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate receiving and warehouse attendants to ensure efficient performance and adherence to company standards.
• Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of all goods, supplies, and equipment delivered to the hotel.
• Verify that all deliveries match approved purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes before acceptance.
• Inspect incoming goods for quantity, quality, and condition, reporting any discrepancies or damages immediately.
• Enter received goods accurately into the inventory management system and complete all receiving documentation promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular counts, stock audits, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Accounting, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments regarding deliveries and inventory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising receiving and warehouse staff.
• Strong attention to detail for inspecting incoming goods and verifying documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple internal departments.
