About the role
The IDB Group seeks an analytical and collaborative professional to serve as a Strategic Resource Management Consultant. You will support the rollout of an IT Financial Management (ITFM) tool and help align financial planning with strategic objectives across the Technology and Transformation Department.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor implementation of product‑level OKRs and ensure alignment with institutional priorities.
- Collaborate with product teams to harmonize operating methodologies, prioritization decisions, and budget allocation for RUN, GROW, and TRANSFORM initiatives.
- Support governance processes for prioritization and funding decisions, maintaining consistency with approved budget frameworks.
- Prepare executive reports and dashboards on budget execution, investment performance, and cost transparency.
- Provide data‑driven analysis to senior management for investment prioritization and resource allocation.
- Assist in the implementation and adoption of the ITFM tool to improve cost transparency and financial decision‑making.
- Help prepare, allocate, and monitor capital and administrative budgets, including investment proposals.
- Track financial resource usage to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and value generation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, cost management, strategy support and technology‑related projects.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken); French or Portuguese is a plus.
- Citizenship of one of the IDB Group’s 48 member countries and eligibility to work without sponsorship.
- No family members up to the fourth degree of consanguinity or second degree of affinity employed by the IDB Group, IDB Invest or IDB Lab.
