Vice President – Asset Management & Research

About the role

The Vice President – Asset Management & Research will lead the investment strategy, portfolio construction and research architecture for the Group’s asset management platform. Reporting to senior leadership, this role integrates macro‑economic analysis, research insights and disciplined risk management to deliver superior risk‑adjusted returns across all managed portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Guide asset‑allocation decisions across fixed income, equities, alternatives and multi‑asset portfolios, ensuring alignment with mandates and market conditions.
• Design and implement portfolio construction frameworks for discretionary portfolios and investment funds.
• Oversee performance of investment portfolios, monitoring absolute and risk‑adjusted returns and ensuring compliance with policy statements, regulatory limits and internal risk parameters.
• Provide investment leadership for collective investment schemes, including mutual funds and unit trusts.
• Centralise investment research capabilities and collaborate with affiliated entities to embed research insights into portfolio decisions.
• Support business development initiatives to secure new asset‑management mandates and drive product innovation.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in multi‑asset portfolio management and investment research.
• Proven track record of leading investment strategy and delivering consistent risk‑adjusted performance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and risk frameworks governing asset‑management activities.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across a regional financial group and its affiliates.
