Agile Coach – 6‑Month Contract (Grade 4)

About the role

Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to join its Innovation team on a six‑month contract. You will assess current Agile practices, coach teams and individuals, and help standardise documentation to strengthen Agile governance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess existing Agile processes, frameworks and ceremonies.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements to raise Agile maturity.
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners and team members on Agile roles and responsibilities.
• Support teams in applying Agile principles, improving collaboration and delivery cadence.
• Observe and provide feedback on Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Retrospectives and Reviews.
• Assist in defining or refining the organisation’s Agile governance model and metrics.
• Develop and maintain standardised Agile documentation, templates and playbooks.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Studies or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on Agile projects across industries, including banking and finance.
• Proven experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban and SAFe (or similar scaling approaches).
• Agile certifications such as CSP, ICP‑ACC, SAFe Program Consultant, CSM or equivalent.
