AI Governance & Inventory Specialist

About the role

The AI Governance & Inventory Specialist will lead the creation, maintenance, and optimisation of a centralised enterprise AI inventory for KPMG Jamaica. Working closely with business, technology, security, legal and risk teams, you will provide the data and visibility needed to support responsible AI use across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive inventory of AI systems, applications, models, agents, integrations and supporting technology components.
• Gather, validate and organise foundational AI system information to support security, governance, compliance and risk management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to collect system details, clarify ownership, document purpose and keep records up‑to‑date.
• Track attributes such as business owner, technical owner, use‑case description, vendor/platform, deployment environment, data classification, model usage, integration points and lifecycle status.
• Identify data gaps, ageing items and ownership issues; follow up with owners to improve completeness and quality.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, status updates, documentation, process guides, templates and metrics that enable AI visibility and responsible AI enablement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in information security, technology risk, IT governance, data management, compliance, business analysis or similar technology functions.

Required skills

• Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Archer, ServiceNow or comparable workflow, reporting, GRC or inventory management platforms.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand AI‑enabled systems, cloud services, data flows, integrations and technology ownership models.
• Excellent organisational abilities for collecting, structuring, validating and maintaining detailed information.
