About the role
The Associate Director, Corporate Finance will support the growth and execution of corporate finance initiatives across the Caribbean. Working closely with Global Banking & Markets, Corporate and Commercial Banking teams, you will originate, structure and deliver customized financing solutions for corporate clients.
Key responsibilities
- Support origination, structuring and execution of corporate finance transactions, delivering tailored financing solutions.
- Partner with Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, GBM and product teams to deepen client relationships and provide holistic solutions.
- Prepare and analyse financial models, valuations, credit presentations, transaction documentation and client proposals.
- Manage transaction execution from origination through closing, ensuring regulatory compliance and internal governance.
- Conduct financial, industry and risk analyses to support credit recommendations.
- Identify cross‑selling opportunities for treasury, derivatives and capital‑markets products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance profitability and market position of the Corporate Finance unit.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field (MBA, CFA or similar postgraduate qualification is an asset).
- Minimum five years of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Corporate or Commercial Banking.
- Proven experience structuring and executing corporate finance transactions such as corporate lending, bond issuances, syndicated loans, club deals, project finance and other structured financing solutions.
- Strong financial analysis and modelling capabilities, including cash‑flow modelling and business valuations.
- Solid understanding of credit analysis, financial‑statement analysis, risk assessment and corporate banking products.
- Demonstrated ability to originate transactions, identify business opportunities and grow client relationships.
