Assurance Manager

About the role

EY Jamaica is seeking an Assurance Manager to join its External Audit team. You will work on audit engagements across the Caribbean, helping clients meet reporting requirements while leveraging digital tools and innovative approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures, focusing on complex and specialized issues.
• Plan engagement objectives and audit strategy in line with professional standards and risk considerations.
• Understand client industries, identify performance drivers, and maintain productive relationships with client management.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and optimise assurance processes across multiple clients.
• Monitor team progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure high‑quality delivery on time and within budget.
• Lead, delegate, and coach a team of Seniors and Associates, conducting performance reviews and providing training.
• Utilise technology to enhance service delivery and share knowledge.
• Generate new business opportunities and stay informed of economic developments affecting clients.
• Develop long‑term internal and external relationships and networks.
