AWS Solutions Architect – Remote (Jamaica)

About the role

Coforge is seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to design, migrate, and secure cloud solutions for clients worldwide. This remote position is based in Jamaica and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and cost‑effective AWS architectures tailored to client requirements.
• Lead end‑to‑end cloud migration projects, moving workloads from on‑premises environments to AWS.
• Participate in presales activities, delivering presentations, workshops, and proposal documentation.
• Provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles and act as a trusted advisor on cloud strategy.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in cloud architecture with a strong focus on AWS.
• Proven track record in presales engagements and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of AWS services, cloud architecture best practices, and security protocols.
• Experience with DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes in AWS environments.
• Familiarity with cloud compliance frameworks and security standards.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification.
