B2B Marketing & Business Communications Consultant (Remote)

About the role

IDB Invest, the private‑sector arm of the IDB Group, seeks a B2B Marketing & Business Communications professional to support its Business Planning team. The consultant will help position the institution’s transactions, events and award‑winning projects across Latin America and the Caribbean, enhancing visibility for external audiences, clients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide communications support for business transactions, creating tailored messaging that highlights financial innovation and development impact.
• Maintain an inventory of high‑profile awards, support applications, track outcomes and build a knowledge base for future submissions.
• Coordinate business events, managing agendas, logistics, invitations, vendors and stakeholder engagement, and produce post‑event reports with engagement metrics.
• Maintain accurate stakeholder contact records and update event‑related information before and after each event.
• Assist with marketing campaigns and content initiatives that reinforce IDB Invest’s positioning in the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, International Relations or related field; additional certifications in B2B marketing or event management are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B marketing and communications, preferably within multilateral development banks, large corporations or similar complex organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear, compelling content in both English and Spanish.
