Client Services Representative – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

Join FFK Insurance Brokers as a Client Services Representative and become the primary point of contact for our customers and insurance partners. You will ensure smooth communication, accurate documentation, and compliance with industry regulations while supporting the delivery of tailored insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Process correspondence from clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
• Update and maintain records of all communications and actions taken.
• Prepare and issue cover notes, certificates, renewal notices, market responses, proposals, and other required documents.
• Maintain accurate data in the company’s software systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with premium calculations for market responses and proposals.
• Dispatch documents such as renewal notices, endorsements, registration papers, and valuation reports to the appropriate parties.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in insurance brokering or a related insurance sector.
• First‑degree qualification, preferably in Management Studies.
• Jamaica Insurance Diploma or comparable qualification, or actively pursuing it.
• Registered as a Sales Representative for the relevant classes of insurance.
• Strong customer service, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, self‑motivation, and accountability.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of insurance broking business and all classes of insurance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using a broking software system and general office systems.
• Understanding of compliance, Anti‑Money Laundering, and Proceeds of Crime regulations.
