About the role

AIM Educational Services is seeking a dedicated College Counselor to join its on‑site team in Kingston. In this full‑time role you will support high‑school students and their families throughout the college admissions journey, helping them make informed decisions about higher education.

Key responsibilities

• Guide high‑school students through the college application process, including timeline management and document preparation.
• Provide information and counseling on student financial aid options and assist families with financial planning for education.
• Collaborate with school faculty and families to ensure each student receives personalized support.
• Conduct workshops and informational sessions on college selection, admissions criteria, and test‑prep strategies.

Required profile

• Experience in college counseling, admissions advising, or related student counseling roles.
• Knowledge of financial aid programs and education financing.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with high‑school students, families, and school staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
