Customer Service Representative (Insurance)

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will act as the primary point of contact for clients in St. James, delivering professional insurance advice, managing policy documentation and supporting business growth through proactive service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify suitable market opportunities and discuss implementation options with clients.
• Bind coverage with insurance carriers and prepare accurate documentation in line with service standards.
• Interview clients and provide expert advice on insurance matters upon request.
• Complete all assigned follow‑ups by scheduled dates and maintain up‑to‑date POCA requirements for client accounts.
• Anticipate and advise on risk‑management and insurance solutions to protect client assets and liabilities.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a customer‑service capacity.
• Passes in at least four GCE O‑Level or CXC subjects, including Mathematics and English.
• Working knowledge of motor and property classes of general insurance.
• Registered Salesman status for motor and property insurance business.
