Director of Kidspoint Childcare Program

About the role

The Kidspoint Director leads St. Luke’s United Methodist Church’s weekday childcare ministry, providing high‑quality care for infants, toddlers, and preschool‑age children while sharing the love of God with families. This role focuses on fostering Christian education and supporting the social, emotional, and educational growth of young children.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Kidspoint program and ensure compliance with North Carolina childcare and state licensing guidelines.
• Hire, train, and supervise teachers and staff.
• Manage the program budget.
• Create opportunities to connect the church community with the Kidspoint program.
• Implement policies that promote the well‑being of children in physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational areas.

Required profile

• Level 1 North Carolina Early Childhood Administrator Credential.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• A Christian commitment to joyfully help each child grow in all areas of well‑being.
