Event Photographer

About the role

876 Events, Jamaica’s leading event management and ticketing platform, is looking for a full‑time Event Photographer to capture the island’s biggest parties, concerts, festivals and corporate gatherings. This salaried position offers a stable monthly income and the chance to become the public face of the brand on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Cover a minimum of 8 events per month across Jamaica, delivering at least 150 edited images per event.
• Upload, caption and organise galleries on the 876 Events platform within 72 hours of each event.
• Promote the platform by distributing 876 Events cards to attendees and building relationships with promoters and organizers.
• Collaborate with the internal team on scheduling, coverage priorities and content strategy.

Required profile

• Proven event photography experience with a portfolio or Instagram showcase.
• Strong low‑light and crowd‑shooting abilities.
• Outgoing personality comfortable approaching promoters, organizers and event patrons.
• Reliable, punctual and able to meet contractual commitments.
• Own professional photography equipment and a computer capable of editing large galleries.
• Based in Jamaica with reliable transportation for island‑wide travel.
