External Quality Assessor – Motorcycle Repair (International)

About the role

The External Quality Assessor (EQA) will support City & Guilds centres by providing industry‑specific quality assurance expertise for motorcycle repair qualifications. Working alongside your current employment, you will travel to assessment sites, plan and monitor QA activities, and ensure compliance with qualification standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective relationships with centres and the City & Guilds office.
• Plan, conduct and document quality assurance activities for motorcycle repair programmes.
• Provide clear, supportive feedback to learners, assessors and delivery staff.
• Monitor compliance with City & Guilds qualification requirements and regulatory standards.
• Report findings and recommend improvements to enhance assessment quality.

Required profile

• Current, credible expertise in motor vehicle, engineering and motorcycle repair qualifications.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel throughout the assigned region.
