Group HR Business Partner – Strategic Workforce Leader

About the role

The Group HR Business Partner acts as the primary strategic liaison between business leaders and the HR Centers of Excellence, aligning people strategies with business priorities across multiple markets. This senior leader partners closely with CEOs and senior managers to understand workforce challenges, provide insights, and deliver HR solutions that drive measurable organizational outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to design and execute talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development programs.
• Drive organizational effectiveness by reviewing structures, capabilities, headcount and cost to meet the business plan.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, industrial relations, and compliance with labor legislation across assigned markets.
• Lead workforce analytics, translating data into actionable insights on turnover, retention, productivity and engagement.
• Support change initiatives through change management, readiness assessments and leadership alignment.
• Leverage technology and AI to improve HR delivery, automate processes and enhance employee experience.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning and talent risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with HR COE specialists to ensure timely execution of offers, contracts, visas, compensation and other people matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology or related field; Master’s or professional HR certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of HR experience, including significant time as an HR Business Partner or in strategic HR leadership.
• Proven experience partnering with senior leaders in a complex, multi‑country, matrix environment.
• Strong background in organizational transformation, talent discussions, workforce planning and change management.
• Deep understanding of employee/industrial relations, employment legislation and HR governance.
