About the role
Digicel is seeking a Group Tax Analyst to manage corporate income tax compliance and reporting for multiple entities across its regional footprint. The role ensures high‑quality tax deliverables, meets internal and external deadlines, and supports continuous improvement of tax processes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly tax provision calculations, related disclosures and reconciliations for assigned entities.
- Record monthly tax expense accruals and update cash tax and tax expense forecasts.
- Forecast and process corporate income tax payments for the designated companies.
- Review balance‑sheet tax accounts, ensuring accurate statements and reconciliations.
- Maintain a tax return due‑date tracker and develop work‑plans to meet filing deadlines.
- Engage external advisers for timely preparation and review of tax computations and returns.
- Build and update a summary of material tax rules for each jurisdiction.
- Support implementation of new finance and tax systems, ensuring correct configuration of tax provision software.
Required profile
- Experience in corporate income tax compliance and reporting for multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with tax team members.
