Settlement Analyst

About the role

Celebration Brands Limited, the leading sales and distribution company for beverages in Jamaica, is seeking a Settlement Analyst to support its cash management process. The role ensures timely handling, processing and deposit of receipts and disbursements while leading day‑to‑day settlement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee settlement operations across all locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely resolution of cash module issues.
• Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations and month‑end activities, adhering to reporting deadlines and internal controls.
• Monitor cash management processes including lodgements, cash receivables, account postings, shortages and bank transactions.
• Coordinate settlement activities with Warehouse, Delivery, Accounting & Tax, Treasury, IT and Shared Services to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain governance over settlement documentation, logs, POS equipment, petty cash and asset records, conducting audits and escalating exceptions.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring performance, implementing process enhancements and providing training.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar cash management, settlements or treasury operations role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or ACCA Level 2.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in cash management.
• Ability to communicate proficiently at all levels and maintain excellent customer relations.
