Head of Product Management – Fintech Products

About the role

MC Systems Limited, a subsidiary of the Jamaica National Group, is looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Product Management to build and lead its fintech product function. You will own the strategy, commercialization, and growth of core banking, payroll SaaS, and digital payments solutions while establishing a high‑performing product organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for Phoenix (core banking), BizPay (payroll SaaS), and Payments (digital payments).
• Lead product discovery by analysing customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
• Prioritise roadmaps and backlogs with engineering based on value, commercial impact and strategic goals.
• Drive productisation activities such as packaging, onboarding, pricing, configuration and scalability.
• Manage Product Owners to translate strategy into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
• Oversee product acceptance, business validation, UAT and secure sign‑off before launch.
• Build and develop a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, transitioning from hands‑on ownership to strategic leadership as the portfolio matures.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading product management functions, preferably in fintech, banking, payments or SaaS environments.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product plans.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling high‑performing product teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
