Information Security Compliance Officer

About the role

KPMG Islands Group is seeking a motivated Information Security Compliance Officer to protect people, data, systems, and the firm’s reputation. The role supports critical information protection controls and works closely with internal teams to identify and remediate security threats.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain documentation, conduct periodic reviews and impact assessments to ensure compliance with KPMG’s Information Security Policies.
• Support audit programs, track remediation of findings, and report/escalate issues as needed.
• Evaluate existing tools and processes, recommending improvements to strengthen the security posture.
• Monitor and maintain inventories, prepare statistics and metrics, and keep document libraries up‑to‑date.
• Assist in delivering information security training and maintaining an awareness program.
• Participate in information risk assessments and document identified risks.
• Follow incident response procedures, monitor incidents, and escalate to the CISO when required.
• Conduct supplier and product assessments for third‑party vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in Information Technology and/or Information Security.
