Junior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Junior Internal Auditor will support the Internal Audit Department in establishing a robust risk management framework and ensuring compliance with group policies across all business units. This role involves planning audits, reviewing reports, and assisting with corrective actions to safeguard company assets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the annual audit plan and executing scheduled audits.
• Review audit reports, follow up on recommendations, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Coordinate with departments to address business risk areas and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintain and update the risk map, proposing improvements to control mechanisms.
• Handle special audit assignments related to fraud, theft, and other risk areas as requested.

Required profile

• First degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in a similar internal audit or risk management position.
• Chartered Accountant (ACCA/CPA) or CIA qualification is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French and Spanish are a plus.
