About the role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (EHS) professional to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of safety, health and environmental programs across our storage, distribution and value‑added services operations.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions, conduct root‑cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are documented and closed.
- Monitor compliance with local EHS legislation, corporate standards and customer requirements.
- Prepare, analyse and present EHS KPI dashboards covering accident rates, safety observations, inspections, training compliance and environmental performance.
- Design and deliver training on occupational health, safety, chemical handling, emergency response and PPE usage.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments, inspections and audits (internal, customer and external) and manage the closure of findings.
- Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, including documentation, procedures and records.
- Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure GHS compliance for all stored chemicals.
- Oversee waste management, recycling, EcoVadis and SMETA sustainability programs.
- Coordinate emergency response equipment, fire protection systems and evacuation procedures.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental legislation and best practices.
- Proven experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and audit processes.
- Ability to lead incident investigations and drive corrective‑action closure.
- Excellent communication skills to train and influence employees, contractors and visitors.
