About the role
The OHSE Analyst will lead the investigation of incidents, accidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions, ensuring thorough root‑cause analysis and corrective action implementation. This role supports a safe and healthy work environment across storage, distribution and value‑added services.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions, document findings and track corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental legislation, corporate standards and customer requirements.
- Prepare, analyse and present EHS KPIs such as accident rates, safety observations, inspections, training compliance and environmental performance.
- Coordinate and deliver training programmes on health, safety, chemical handling, emergency response and PPE use.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments, inspections and audits, and drive preventive and corrective actions.
- Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
- Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure GHS compliance for stored chemical products.
- Oversee chemical spill response, fire protection systems, emergency equipment and evacuation procedures.
- Control inventory of PPE, emergency response equipment and first‑aid supplies.
- Lead sustainability initiatives such as EcoVadis, SMETA, waste management and recycling programmes.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and GHS requirements.
- Proven ability to conduct investigations, risk assessments and internal audits.
- Familiarity with safety data sheet management and chemical storage best practices.
