Operations Specialist – Administration, Supply & Procurement

About the role

The Operations Specialist supports the Deputy Representative (Operations) in overseeing procurement, supply chain, and logistics across twelve Caribbean countries. The role ensures governance, risk management, and performance monitoring are effective and aligned with programme priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate administration, procurement, supply, and logistics services, ensuring standardised and efficient delivery.
• Supervise Operations Associates and a Supply and Procurement Officer, providing guidance and quality assurance.
• Implement and monitor compliance with service standards, operating procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with finance, ICT, and risk officers to integrate operational planning and improve business continuity.
• Support the One Office, One Operating Model by contributing to service integration, standardisation, and value for money.

Required profile

• Relevant higher education qualification.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics or related operational functions.
• Ability to supervise staff and provide escalation support on complex, high‑value matters.
• Strong analytical and performance‑monitoring skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement and supply chain regulations and best practices.
• Familiarity with operational performance frameworks and internal control mechanisms.
