Packaging Shift Manager

About the role

Heineken is looking for an experienced, people‑focused Packaging Shift Manager to lead the packaging shift, ensure safe and efficient execution of the production plan, and uphold the highest quality and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage packaging operations for the assigned shift, meeting production targets safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Heineken safety, food safety, HACCP, 5S, sustainability and regulatory standards.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Drive TPM, Kaizen, RCFA and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coach, develop and onboard the packaging team, maintaining accurate competency matrices.
• Optimize shift resources – manpower, equipment, materials and overtime – to control costs.
• Report key performance indicators and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Safety, TPM and suppliers to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; manufacturing, engineering, packaging or supply‑chain education is an asset.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, beverage or packaging environments.
• Proven experience leading production teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work shifts as required.
