About the role
The Paralegal supports legal services, corporate governance and data protection activities across a diverse group of companies. Working under the Group Legal Counsel, the role involves document preparation, research, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, format and administer contracts, agreements, legal correspondence and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research, maintain the legal matters register, and monitor deadlines and court dates.
- Assist the Corporate Secretary with board, committee and governance matters, including minutes and resolutions.
- Support the Director of Data Protection by maintaining data protection records, coordinating training and handling data subject requests.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or a recognized paralegal/legal studies qualification.
- Experience in legal, corporate governance, compliance or regulatory environments is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication, high discretion and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with electronic document‑management systems.
