Part‑time Remote Peer Reviewer (PhD) for Academic Journals

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD to provide high‑quality peer reviews for academic journals and publishers. This is a well‑compensated, part‑time position that can be performed entirely remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of submitted manuscripts and determine their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and validity.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• At least 3 papers published in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals within the last 2 years.
• At least 12 papers published in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals over the past 10 years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review platforms.
