Regional Business Development Manager

About the role

Join an international fintech and payments leader as the Regional Business Development Manager for the Caribbean. You will be responsible for establishing the company’s presence, building a pipeline of government and private sector clients, and driving revenue growth from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize target markets, sectors, and prospective clients across the Caribbean.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business with governments, banks, fintechs, payment service providers, telcos, and institutional clients.
• Lead presentations and solution pitches to senior decision‑makers, including C‑suite executives and government officials.
• Build and manage long‑term executive‑level client relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and structure complex deals from initial contact through signing and execution.
• Develop and execute the regional business development strategy in collaboration with product, technology, legal, and finance teams.
• Monitor market trends, new technologies, and competitor activity to inform growth strategy.
• Represent the company at regional and international conferences, summits, and client meetings.

Required profile

• Currently based in a Caribbean country with the legal right to work there (no visa sponsorship).
• Proven track record in business development within fintech, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Experience closing high‑value contracts with government or institutional clients.
• Strong ability to work independently and remotely.
