Reservations Specialist – Car Rental (Soft Sales)

About the role

The Reservations Specialist will act as the primary liaison between our car‑rental company and its worldwide customers. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service throughout the pre‑rental, rental, and post‑rental phases, while promoting ancillary products to grow revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Clarify, research and communicate reservation options that meet customer needs.
• Cross‑sell ancillary products and services to increase revenue.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and issues for both current and future rentals.
• Enter and maintain accurate reservation data in company systems.
• Prepare and process special handling requests and related documentation.
• Coordinate with field operations via phone and email to resolve service issues.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer‑care or inside‑sales environment.
• At least 6 months of BPO or sales experience, with three CXC/CSEC subjects including English.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage complex customer issues while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Attention to detail, punctual attendance and the ability to work independently or in a team.
