Reservations Specialist – Car Rental (Soft Sales)

About the role

The Reservations Specialist – Car Rental (Soft Sales) works full‑time on‑site in Kingston, handling inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with vehicle selection, pricing, and booking changes while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer reservation calls, provide vehicle availability and pricing information, and process bookings and modifications.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable rental options and add‑ons such as insurance or upgrades using a soft‑sales approach.
• Accurately enter and update reservation data in the CRM system and resolve basic issues or escalations.
• Collaborate with team leads, attend training sessions, and meet performance metrics for call handling, customer satisfaction, and sales conversion.

Required profile

• Strong reservation and booking experience, preferably in call centres, hospitality, travel or car rental.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑first attitude with patience, empathy and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑based reservation and CRM systems.
